One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time! The dutch crunch was perfectly toasted, crunchy yet chewy, but won't tear up the top of your mouth! Perfect ratio of sandwich materials. I got the California and it was magnificent!
**Review:** On a warm day, I was craving a sundae and looked for something nearby to enjoy. I found Taza Delicate Café and decided to walk in. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a friendly face at the ice cream display. I chose a Rocky Road and Vanilla sundae with nuts. The transaction was easy, and the food was delicious. I would recommend this nice neighborhood café and deli to anyone!

A great selection of sandwiches Friendly service. Fresh coffee. They will customize your sandwich to your liking with many different kinds of bread and condiments. They have great lentil soup. They have a gelato ice cream bar also. Old fashioned milkshakes are the bomb. As are the affogato (expresso over ice cream )
There's a sign at the front window of their shop saying "The 2nd best rated deli in San Mateo county" I'd say THE best rated for the service and fresh food. I ordered the Al Pacino with Dutch crunch bread and it was really good. Had a kick to it with the added jalapeños- def recommend for those who like/eat pastrami. Tip: ask the owner for their red jalapeños or green tomatoes :-)
